888sport has launched Up for 8, a free-to-play prediction game running throughout the 2026/27 UK football season until May 30, 2027. The promotion is available exclusively to UK residents who hold an active, registered 888sport online account. Each weekly cycle, designated as a Gameweek, begins when the challenge is released on Tuesdays (before 5:00 p.m. UK time) and closes the following Monday at 23:59:59 UK time.
To take part, eligible participants must log in to their 888sport account and submit 90-minute result predictions for eight selected matches before the earliest fixture's kick-off time. Entries are limited to one per player each Gameweek across all personal identifiers, including household, device, and email address. Correctly predicting all 8 match outcomes awards an equal share of a £10,000 cash Jackpot Prize. Predictors who correctly forecast 7 or 6 results receive a single Free Bet token worth £10 or £5, respectively. However, if any selected match is postponed, cancelled, abandoned, or lacks an official result, it is declared void, which voids the Jackpot Prize for that Gameweek while leaving lower Free Bet tiers obtainable based on non-void matches.
Prizes are automatically credited to winning accounts on the Tuesday following the Gameweek, though Free Bet tokens may occasionally take up to an additional 72 hours. Players are notified via an onsite pop-up or email and must manually claim their Free Bet token within 72 hours of availability. Claimed Free Bet tokens expire after 7 days, must be wagered in full as a single bet on any sport, cannot be cashed out or combined with real money, and do not return the original stake upon winning. The promotion is operated for UK customers by 888 UK Limited, and players may withdraw their main deposit balance at any time.
