Tottenham take on the visitors Nottingham in the round 33 match of English Premier League. The match will be played on Monday, April 21st at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (London).
Tottenham were left fighting only in the Europa League by mid-spring. The Spurs have had their fair share of difficult and disappointing seasons before. But this campaign has turned out to be especially frustrating. Especially when compared to the previous one, where Ange Postecoglou fell just one win short of overtaking Aston Villa in the battle for the coveted fourth Champions League spot. This time, even after signing the prolific Solanke, the London club has slipped into the bottom half of the table. They tried to make up for it in other competitions. In the EFL Cup, they reached the semi-finals and even claimed a 1–0 win in the first leg against Liverpool — but were thrashed at Anfield in the return fixture. In the Europa League, they got past AZ on away goals and edged Eintracht after a 1–1 draw at home followed by a solid win in Frankfurt. But the league form remains a major concern, with just one win in their last five Premier League matches. The attack has dried up, and defensively they’ve looked vulnerable, conceding in nearly every recent game. Postecoglou is under growing pressure, and it’s clear the team is struggling to find any rhythm.

Nottingham Forest, despite their illustrious history, were only mid-table Championship regulars until recently. Steve Cooper managed to pull off a surprise promotion to the Premier League and even kept them up. But once results dipped last season, the club replaced him with Nuno Espírito Santo — and that decision proved to be a masterstroke. Nuno first guided Forest to safety last year despite a points deduction over Financial Fair Play. This season, he’s built on that momentum, turning them into genuine top-four contenders. On top of that, Forest also reached the FA Cup semi-finals, a feat few predicted. They currently sit third in the Premier League, trailing only Arsenal and Liverpool, and even managed to take four points off the league leaders. Chris Wood has been clinical up front, while the midfield has shown excellent balance and composure under pressure. That said, back-to-back losses, including a recent upset against Everton, have raised questions about their staying power in the top four race.
Tottenham had won three consecutive matches against Forest. However, in their December clash this season, Elanga’s goal gave Nottingham a 1–0 home victory. On paper, this looks like an even matchup. But the visitors have better form and, arguably, more motivation — we’re backing Forest with a 0 handicap.
Prediction for the match: Nottingham to win with 0.0 handicap.
