Switzerland take on Germany in the round 3 match of UEFA Euro-2024 group stage. The match will be played on Sunday, June 23rd at Deutsche Bank Park (Frankfurt).
Switzerland has successfully prepared for this tournament. The "Nati" have long been regulars at major championships. Germany hadn't shown serious results for a long time – essentially 10 years since their triumphant victory at the 2014 World Cup. In the following two World Cups, they didn't make it out of the group stage. When they also failed to deliver in friendly matches in 2023, with neither good performances nor results, Flick was fired, the first of all German national team coaches to be dismissed.
