Stuttgart’s attack has become less clinical without Woltemade, and they are struggling to convert their territorial dominance into goals. Their defense remains well-organized, but lapses in concentration have been costing them points.

St. Pauli kclimbed back to the top flight last season, which was a rare exception. Moreover, they avoided immediate relegation this time, finishing 14th in spring — though they earned only 32 points, less than one per match on average.
