Leeds trying to prove they've learned from last season. The Whites, one of England’s most popular clubs, spent years struggling in the Championship before Marcelo Bielsa finally guided them back to the Premier League and initially kept them there. However, once problems emerged, the club didn’t hesitate to part ways with the Argentine, and despite several managerial changes, they ultimately suffered relegation. In the summer of 2023, Daniel Farke, who had multiple promotions with Norwich City, was tasked with leading the return to the top flight. Yet in 2024, Ipswich Town surprisingly claimed second place, and Southampton edged out Leeds in the playoff final. Despite that disappointment, Farke retained his job, and so far, he has justified that faith, even though there have been occasional setbacks. They exited the FA Cup early against Millwall, but that may have helped them stay focused on the league, as they have largely been winning since—including a recent victory over Sunderland.
Leeds have won each of the last three meetings between the sides, including a 2-0 home victory in October. The visitors are favored, but Sheffield United’s strong form shouldn’t be overlooked. Back the hosts to avoid defeat.
