Getafe generally maintain their already familiar level. The Blues, under Bordalás, once rose from Segunda almost straight into the Europa League play-offs. After his return, expectations were high, but both the season before last and the previous one ended with nothing more than secure survival. It seemed that the current campaign might bring progress. Even so, Getafe have recently looked more organized and competitive, especially against direct rivals.
