In La Liga they managed to take advantage of the Catalans’ slip-ups and push them from first place — only to lose immediately themselves to Osasuna, and then also to Getafe. Even against Celta they secured victory only thanks to a late goal and a bit of luck. In the Champions League there were no problems with Benfica, but now they are already locked in a battle with a stronger Manchester City.
