PSG take on the visitors Inter in the final match of UEFA Champions League. The match will be played on Saturday, May 31st at Allianz Arena (Munich).
Paris Saint-Germain are approaching their main goal. The Parisians have been completely dominant on the domestic front. In recent years, they've won every trophy available under Luis Enrique — both last season without Messi, Neymar, and other veteran stars, and this season after Mbappé’s departure. Kvaratskhelia has looked like a perfect replacement. Still, the main goal for the Spanish manager — as with his predecessors — has always been the Champions League. Last year, they managed to get past Barcelona, but lost in the semi-finals. This season, the group stage started slowly — just one fortunate win and four points from the first few rounds. But they recovered, losing only to Liverpool and Aston Villa, and clearly outplayed Arsenal in both semi-final legs. The team looks fresh and focused, with Dembele and Kolo Muani in top form in attack.

Inter, under Simone Inzaghi, have consistently performed at a high level and won multiple trophies. Last season, they completely dominated Serie A. This time they fought until the last round to defend the Scudetto, but the Champions League campaign clearly took a toll — after exhausting European matches, they dropped points domestically and allowed Napoli to overtake them. In Europe, they cruised through the group stage and had little trouble beating Feyenoord in the round of 16. Then it got tougher — against Bayern Munich they won 2-1 away and drew 2-2 at home. Against Barcelona it was even more intense: both matches ended 3-3, with a late equalizer in Milan and a winning goal in extra time. The squad is experienced, and Lautaro Martínez and Thuram are in excellent scoring form.
These clubs have only met in friendlies before. At first, PSG won three in a row, but Inter later claimed victories — including one on penalties and another in regular time in summer 2023. PSG come into the final as the favorites. However, Inter are battle-tested and tactically disciplined. Our prediction: Inter will avoid defeat — back them on a double chance (draw or Inter win).
Prediction for the match: Inter not to lose (X2).
