Parma take on the visitors Lazio in the round 15 match of Italian Serie A. The match will be played on Wednesday, December 13th at Stadio Ennio Tardini (Parma).
Parma remained stuck in Serie B for quite a long time. They also made some progress in the cup, but their run ended predictably with a 1-2 loss to Bologna. Recent league performances show that Parma struggle to build any consistent momentum, with most victories coming in narrow, hard-fought fashion. Their home form also remains unreliable, making each match a tense test in their fight for survival.

Lazio have yet to show clear improvement. The Eagles last produced strong football under Sarri when they finished runners-up — their best league result in this century. After a slow start it seemed they were finally gaining rhythm. But in November they lost to both Inter and Milan. However, they took revenge in the cup, beating Milan 1-0 to advance. In their recent match against an impressive Bologna side, they shared the points in a 1-1 draw. Despite mixed results, Lazio have shown greater stability than earlier in the season, especially in matches against stronger opponents. Yet their inconsistency in converting possession into wins continues to slow their climb up the table.
Upon returning to Serie A, the Crusaders beat the capital giants at home last season and managed to earn a draw in Rome. The Eagles are stronger and have no shortage of motivation. We expect them to win even away from home.
