Arsenal have clearly improved under Mikel, becoming a genuine heavyweight rather than a nominal one. A second-place finish that once looked like a breakthrough already raised questions in 2025, especially behind Liverpool. This season, however, almost everything has been going right. That positive picture was slightly spoiled by the most recent rounds, first with a goalless draw against Nottingham Forest and then a home defeat to Manchester United. Still, dropped points by their closest rivals allowed Arsenal to stay on top, even though the gap has clearly narrowed.
In the last fifteen meetings, the Whites managed only two draws and have not won a single match. It feels like the right moment for Arteta’s team to regain momentum. The bet here is on Arsenal to finally secure another Premier League victory.
