Kelty Hearts take on the visitors Alloa in the round 19 match of Scotish League One. The match will be played on Tuesday, February 19th.
Kelty Hearts are trying to avoid relegation again. The Bordeaux Machine, as it is affectionately known, will celebrate its 50th anniversary next year. For a long time, it was purely an amateur club until it became a member of the Scottish Football Association in 2017, thus gaining official status. They quickly progressed and, by winning the Lowland League for the second consecutive time in 2021, earned promotion to League 2. They didn't linger there either: by becoming champions, the Hearts made their debut in the third division last season, finishing eighth and avoiding relegation. They are currently maintaining a similar level. However, a series of defeats began in mid-February, including a 0-1 loss to Cove Rangers.

Alloa Athletic are not giving up on its intentions to compete for promotion. The Wasps were founded in 1878. Although they have occasionally risen to the country's top division, the last time was in the early part of the last century. Typically, the team plays significantly below that level, and they are currently members of League 1. They had a chance to change that last season when they finished fourth. However, their subsequent playoff was unsuccessful. Falkirk is currently far ahead, but they can still compete for a place in the top three. They convincingly defeated Edinburgh City 5-2 in the last round.
At the beginning of the season, the Bordeaux won a match. But then the Wasps were stronger twice, including a 3-0 victory earlier in the spring. The visitors may not replicate the margin of the previous encounter with this opponent, but they are obliged to win again.
Prediction for the match: Alloa to win.
