Juventus take on the visitors Inter in the round 3 match of Italian Serie A. The match will be played on Saturday, September 13th at Allianz Stadium (Turin).
Juventus are determined to achieve serious success this season. The Old Lady gave a rather “peculiar” thank you to Massimiliano Allegri in 2024 for winning the cup and finishing 3rd in the league — by sacking him early. His successor Thiago Motta took charge of a heavily revamped squad, with newcomers costing quite a fortune. But all of that turned into failure on all fronts, and only in Serie A they managed to finish 4th, ahead of Roma — and even that was achieved under Igor Tudor. At the FIFA Club World Cup, even with him, the Italians disappointed, crashing out in the first playoff round — against Real Madrid. On the bright side, they started the new Serie A campaign with their trademark neat and pragmatic wins: 2-0 at home against Parma and 1-0 away at Genoa. Juventus have shown solid defensive organization, conceding just once in their last four competitive matches. Their attack is still finding rhythm, but the team’s compact structure makes them hard to break down.

Inter Milan had been playing under Simone Inzaghi in recent years — and successfully. He even led them to the Serie A title in 2024. Last season, they were in contention for a treble… but ended up with nothing, collapsing in the final month: losing 1st place in Serie A, falling to AC Milan in the cup semi-final, and being thrashed by Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League final. His replacement Cristian Chivu has already made several missteps. At the FIFA Club World Cup, the European giants were eliminated in the first playoff round by Fluminense, 0-2. After the summer break, they crushed Torino at the Giuseppe Meazza, only to suffer a listless defeat there to modest Udinese. Inter’s inconsistency remains their main concern, with shaky defending and frequent lapses in concentration. While their attack can be explosive, their form suggests they are still adapting to Chivu’s methods.
In the last five meetings, draws and Inter wins alternated. But in February, the Bianconeri finally claimed a narrow win at home — a lone goal from José 'Chico' Conceição in the 74th minute sealed it in Turin. The pair are considered nearly equal. But taking the home advantage into account, we back Tudor’s side to win with a (0) handicap.
Prediction for the match: Juventus to win with 0.0 handicap.
