Levante are trying to cling to their chances. “The Frogs” were relegated to the Segunda in 2022 — not for the first time — but this time they stayed there for quite a while. Only last season did they finally collect enough points to return to the top tier of Spanish football. Their recent performances show some improvement, especially during short positive stretches where they managed to pick up valuable points. They have become more competitive, particularly against teams around them in the standings. However, at this level, things initially went very poorly. Their last hope for survival came during a surge in late February and March, when they managed two wins and two draws, significantly closing the gap to 17th place. After the international break, they lost to a strong Real Sociedad, but then bounced back with wins over Getafe CF and Sevilla FC, without conceding a single goal.
“The Parakeets” have won five of the last eight meetings, with one defeat. However, in early 2026 they only managed a 1–1 away draw. The hosts are expected to finally get a long-awaited win. However, given their poor form, it makes more sense to back Levante not to lose. One could even consider taking the newcomers with a draw no bet option away from home.
