It seems Bochum couldn’t recover from this blow, starting their key home playoff match with three unanswered goals conceded.
In the 2020/2021 season, when both were in Bundesliga 2, the Unbreakables on their way to long-awaited promotion defeated the Red and Whites twice. However, Fortuna later won a couple of friendly matches. It’s hard to believe in a dramatic turnaround for Bochum or even that they will put up a final fight. It’s more likely that the Red and Whites will secure another win.
