Osasuna have dipped, but are trying to avoid disaster. The Reds finished eighth last season only on tiebreakers, having the same 52 points as Rayo Vallecano. In the summer, Moreno left after just one year, and his replacement from Mirandés, Lisci, has not been especially convincing. In the latest rounds, they first defeated Rayo and then earned a hard-fought draw with Villarreal. These results show that Osasuna are still capable of reacting under pressure. While consistency is lacking, their recent performances suggest a team fighting to stabilize rather than collapse.
The club from Vigo have won three of the last four head-to-head meetings, with one defeat. More faith is placed in the Galicians, who are also playing at home. However, the visitors from Pamplona are in decent form right now, so the bet is on Osasuna at least not to lose.
