Barcelona finished the 2023/2024 campaign without a single trophy. Betis had a good season, but it still left a taste of disappointment. Los Verdiblancos struck gold when they appointed Manuel Pellegrini. The experienced Chilean continues in Seville what he has done successfully before in Spain: extracting strong results from an ambitious upper-mid-table side. Of course, the advantage historically lies very clearly with “More Than a Club.” But in the last four meetings, Barcelona have managed only two wins, with the other two ending in draws.
