Liverpool have definitely improved – a year ago they finished 5th and missed out on the Champions League. However, their setback in spring was too abrupt. Even a victory over Tottenham in the last match (Klopp's last at Anfield) doesn't change anything in terms of the tournament.
A year ago, Villans finally won after 5 consecutive defeats – and if it wasn't for Firmino's goal, they would have won altogether. But this season, the Merseysiders managed to snatch all 3 points from them at home. Emery seems unable to cope with the decline. And Liverpool, who have finally come alive, should take advantage of this. We bet on the victory of the Reds.
