Walsall currently finds itself in the middle of the fourth division of the country. The Saddlers have been in existence for 135 years, but they have only managed to play in at least the 2nd division of the country for short periods, if at all. The Green Devils positioned themselves as a completely vegan project back in 2015. Nevertheless, they performed decently under realistic conditions at that time. Interestingly, in the first round of the Trophy, they managed to convincingly defeat Shrewsbury at home.
