Vitesse left the Dutch Cup at the quarterfinal stage, losing 0-5 to Ajax. The results in the Conference League are much better: the Yellow-Blacks not only qualified from the group in this debut European tournament but also eliminated Rapid Vienna in the first round of the playoffs. Sparta Rotterdam was the grandee of Dutch football more than 100 years ago. From 1909 to 1915, the team won five champion’s titles.
