Union once again fails to please their fans from Santa Fe. El Tate was founded at the beginning of the last century, but despite their long history, they haven't achieved much. Platense under Martin Palermo have shown noticeable improvement. Los Calamares lost their place in the Primera Division in 1999 and eventually ended up in the semi-amateur third division of Argentina, where they spent a considerable amount of time. They gradually managed to return to the elite and have since established themselves there.
