SPAL take on the visitors Atalanta at the Stadio Paolo Mazza in the 4th tour of the Serie A TIM. The match will be played in Ferrara on Monday, September 17th.
In their last tour fixture against Torino Gli Spallini were not able to recoup after conceding a goal. SPAL lost with a 0-1 score in the end. This time it will be very hard for the team of Leonardo Semplici to score once again. Thereby it will be very hard for them to get any points out of the match against Atalanta. Even though they tried hard Atalanta got knocked out from the UEFA Europa League in the end. However, La Dea had multiple goal attempts in their Eurocups fixtures and were looking better than their opponents overall. Now they will put all their effort into the Serie A TIM. Quite frankly, their chance of succeeding this season is really high. In their second tour fixture against Roma the team of Gian Piero Gasperini drew with a 3-3 score which was an incredible match. Even though it will be hard for Atalanta to face the uncomfortable SPAL they have a great potential. Most importantly, La Dea had time to vindicate themselves after their failure in the UEFA Europa League. The team of Gian Piero Gasperini is better than the team of Leonardo Semplici in every aspect of the game so they should get the three points in the upcoming fixture.
