Skopje take on the visitors Rangers at the Philip II Arena in the second leg match of UEFA Champions League 1st qualifying round. The match will be played in the eponymous city Skopje, the capital of Macedonia, on Tuesday, July 17th.
Skopje disappoints their fans every year by not reaching to the international level where they could show their best. Last season the Pirates finished the national competition on the 4th place having only 51 points after 36 matches. Their offensive line looked quite convincing and scored 51 goals but the defenders were not so good and conceded 46 goals. It`s worth noting that the last three home matches were amazing for Skopje (4-1 win against Vardar, 3-0 win against Renova and 5-2 win against Pelister).

Talking about Rangers, once upon a time they were a powerful team. They used to play on the international level regularly and scare their opponents to death. But last season the Scots were only able to get the 3 place in their local league and have 70 points after 38 matches. Their offensive line was glorious and scored 76 goals but the defensive line had some troubles and allowed 50 goals. Last three away matches for Rangers ended with a 5-5 draw against Hibernian, a 1-1 draw against Aberdeen and a 0-5 loss to Celtic.
The first leg match in Scotland ended with a 2-0 win for Rangers. Without a doubt the Teddy Bears are a stronger team between these two so it`s very unlikely they will lose this handicap.
Prediction for the match: Rangers to win with -1.0 handicap.
