Shakhtyor Soligorsk hosts Esbjerg in the first leg of the Europa League qualification quarterfinals. The match will be played on Thursday, July 25th at Stroitel Stadion (Soligorsk)
Perhaps that the middle-class team of the Danish championship for such Shakhtyor is already a final point... I must say that the team of Tashuyev team looks much more colorful or something in the last season. But now the team is absolutely boring, extremely in terms of a home game in the attack. 22 goals were scored after 14 rounds in the championship, and compared to other top teams of the country, this is quite a low figure. And of course, the first qualifying round of this tournament showed that Shakhtyor is not in the best shape... The team beat Maltese Hibernians with a 2-0 score on average of matches. Well, this is really not serious ... Two victories with a 1-0 score over, one can say, the amateur team... The Belarusians created attempts, but the conversion was terrible... Well, having created about 10 really dangerous attempts in a match with the Maltese, Shakhtyor converted only one. So what can we expect from the team in the battle with the Danes, who will naturally play better in defense, and most importantly, they will attack actively! So, the prospects of the Miners are very vague...

Esbjerg is the middle-class team of the Danish league. It missed the first qualifying round and begins its way from the second one. Two rounds of the Danish league are already over, and Esbjerg’s start is not very good: 0-1 defeat to Midtjylland and a draw with Hobro (1-1). But I think that it’s too early to make negative conclusions! The team took fifth place in the last championship, and as a whole, there is no zest in the team. A tight-playing team, which obviously can create problems for the rivals at this stage of qualification! Moreover, the team has not played in European Cups for quite a while, and now this is quite a “dark horse”; Belarusian teams (except BATE), as practice shows, don’t know how to play with such clubs. Therefore, the Danes were generally lucky with a rival!
As I have already said, teams from Belarus play with clubs from not top championships badly enough... It’s hard to play with the representatives of Austrian, Polish, Danish leagues. And I am waiting for another failure of the Belarusian representative, especially as the game of Shakhtyor gives prerequisites...
Prediction for the match: Esbjerg to win with +0.5 handicap
