Senegal meets Tunisia in the Africa Cup of Nations semifinals. The match will be played on Sunday, July 14th at Cairo Military Academy Stadium (Cairo)
Senegal has suffered only one defeat - to Algeria in the 2nd round of the group stage. But then the team confidently moved through the tournament and won all the other games, including the one that preceded the match against Algeria (with Tanzania), and except for Algeria again, it didn’t concede goals.

After 4 consecutive draws in the championship, Tunisia finally began to score in the last quarterfinal match against Madagascar (3 goals). Although the 1st half did not foretell anything of the kind and there were no goals scored in it.
Tunisia is an unpleasant team. 4 of 5 matches in the tournament ended with a draw. In the quarterfinals, it beat the Ghana national team only in the penalty shootout. The Eagles of Carthage compensates the lack of creativity for a tough and tight-checking game, which is primarily aimed at preventing the opponent from playing. The fans cannot like such football. But not all of them. For example, Tunisian ones are probably satisfied because the team is already in the semifinal. Senegal, on the contrary, took the initiative in all its matches (even in the lost one) and deprived the opponents of the ball, playing attack first and scoring one goal or even more. And even after that, it did not close at its own penalty area and kept on attacking the opponents. I will not undertake to predict, who will reach the final (my subjective opinion - we will see a pair of Senegal-Algeria in the final, and there are several examples when teams from the same group played in the final of the large tournaments). But Senegal will probably manage to score Tunisia at least one goal. And if it scores the first one, we may well wait for the second one. Tunisia will go to win back, and we will see the counterattacks of fast and technical Njang, Keita and Mane. So, I propose to bet on the goals of Senegal.
Prediction for the match: Senegal to score over 1.0 goal
