Yes, the team scored the most points among all competitors outside of the home arena (5-1-1). However, four victories were minimal. The team's potential for thumping is clearly overestimated. Zalgiris is fighting with Suduva for the gold in A Lyga, but the team lost to its main rival a week earlier, having broken its 6-match winning streak. These circumstances will certainly not have the best effect in the team's locker room.
In August, Riteriai already met with teams similar to Zalgiris in the selection of performers, and the team looked decent. It allowed Kauno to score only one goal (0:1) lost to Suduva because of two goals conceded in the endings of both halves (1:2).
