Red Star Belgrade take on the visitors Suduva at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in the second qualifying round of UEFA Champions League. The match will be played in Belgrade on Tuesday, July 24th.
The Baltic tour continues for Red Star. The team faced Spartaks from Latvia in the first qualification round and had some problems. The Red-Whites ended the first leg match against Spartaks with a 0-0 draw on the away side which was a surprise for a lot of fans. And it`s worth noting that the Serbians had problems in the second leg match on their home field too scoring the final goal only on the 78th minute of that fixture. The Star has not been able to break the Latvian defense open for 168 minutes. So Red Star is hardly the favourite of the upcoming match.

Suduva are already the heroes for the fans in Lithuania. The team was able to knock out the experienced APOEL from the Champions League. Of course they were a bit lucky with scoring 3 goals in 20 minutes in the first leg match against the Cypriots. After that they were thinking about their defense only. But their defensive line was really good and completely deserved to get the ticket to the next round for their team. APOEL scored only twice against Suduva for 180 minutes even though they had a lot of goal attempts.
Despite Suduva being lucky in the first leg match against APOEL they showed a great defensive play in the second leg match. So the Sudovians should have another great match this time against Red Star.
