After a home draw with Hertha (2-2), Leipzig managed to brace itself and showed perfect football on the road. This victory allowed the Bulls to return to the Champions League zone, and now there is a real chance to gain a foothold in the quartet of the strongest because RB Leipzig will host the main outsider of the tournament standings, Paderborn. Leipzig acts quite well on its field - the team managed to gain seven victories in 14 home matches, but both home games after the restart ended in a draw. Of course, the Bulls will try to break the streak of domestic failures. In the first leg, they managed to beat Paderborn with a 3-2 score, and the teams met in Bundesliga 2 before that - then Leipzig managed to win twice. In the last round, Paderborn played against Borussia Dortmund with MVP Sancho, who gained very decent shape during the quarantine. The outsider managed to hold on for one half, but the second one was a nightmare – the Yellow-Blacks sent six goals to Paderborn’s net, and the hosts managed to answer only once. It seems to me that today's visitors do not believe that they will manage to compete for maintaining a place in the elite because Paderborn is nine points behind the green zone. Frankly speaking, it is impossible to win back such a gap. I think Paderborn won’t manage to offer battle to its much more powerful and motivated opponent.
It seems to me that it is worth betting on a landslide victory of the home team.
