Qatar have spoiled its prospects of advancing from the group stage by unexpectedly losing 1-2 to Haiti. Now they must definitely defeat Honduras and somehow secure points against the Mexicans. Qatar had been preparing actively for the upcoming World Cup in their home country, but their performance at the December World Forum cannot be given even an average rating. As for the current tournament, Qatar doesn't feel particularly comfortable, as they even struggled against Tahiti. However, in matches against Honduras over the past 3 years, the Qatari team managed to achieve favorable results. They met twice, and in both cases, Qatar was stronger with clean sheets of 1-0 and 2-0. As for the upcoming match, it is reasonable to believe in the Asian representatives once again, even though Qatar hasn't shown anything outstanding. However, the same can be said for Honduras, who has also struggled to perform.
