PSV take on the visitors Inter at the Philips Stadion in the Round 2 of the UEFA Champions League Group B. The match will be played in Eindhoven on Wednesday, October 3rd.
In the Round 1 of the UEFA Champions League Group B PSV were able to show a good playing style for the most part of their fixture against Barcelona on the away side. In the end though they lost with a 0-4 score. Overall, the team of Mark van Bommel was looking pretty solid but lacked concentration in order to get a positive result. Furthermore, they had a lot of goal attempts in that game and deserved to score at least once. Now it will be easier for them to face Inter in the psychological aspect of the game. That`s because the Italian side has been unstable recently and has been a scary opponent for zero teams. In their local league Eredivisie the Boeren are on the first place in the table with 26 scored goals to their credit after seven tours. This is a sign of the great potential that their offensive line has. In their last three matches PSV beat Breda with a 2-0 score, Excelsior Maassluis with a 4-0 score in the 1/16-finals fixture of the KNVB Beker and Ajax with a 3-0 score.

Inter on the other hand have been on their way to the peak shape lately, they have won four matches in a row (over Tottenham Hotspur with a 2-1 score in their Champions League group stage fixture, over Sampdoria with a 1-0 score, over Fiorentina with a 2-1 score and over Cagliari with a 2-0 score). The team of Luciano Spalletti is likely to score some goals against PSV because their offensive line is pretty good and the defensive line of the Dutchmen is weak anyway.
It is likely that both teams will score in the upcoming fixture. Both of them have great offensive lines who want to make their respective marks in the Champions League desperately.
Prediction for the match: Both teams to score.
