Newcastle United hosts Liverpool in round 37 of English Premier League. The match will be played on Saturday, May 4th at St. James Park (Newcastle)
Newcastle United has already completed the minimum task for the current season, retaining the desired place in the English Premier League for the next championship. Therefore, it may seem quite fair to many people that the hosts will not fully lay themselves out in the practically non-decisive meeting, giving up three points to their much more motivated opponents without a fight.

In my opinion, this will not happen for the following reasons. Firstly, Newcastle is an independent and conceited team, staffed with good players who will obviously be not averse to demonstrate their ambitions in front of their home fans in a battle with star-spangled Liverpool... Secondly, let's not forget that the Spanish specialist Rafael Benitez, who once worked with the Liverpool stalwart, is currently coaching the Magpies. And does respectful Rafa really want to be dabbed with fingers and accused of the fact that he purposefully surrendered this match to please his former colleagues??!
As for Liverpool, the recent crafty words of Mohamed Salah came true: "It is more important for us to win the Premier League than the Champions League..." Consequently, the Reds are likely to screw up in both tournaments. They failed in the first match of the Champions League semi-finals with Barcelona (0:3 defeat) and lag behind Manchester City in the standings of the Premier League, which has an easy calendar at the finish... The Egyptian is a damn oracle!
Of course, I‘m not ruling out the success of Liverpool, which looks stronger than Newcastle by any standard... But at the same time, I seriously doubt that the visitors will win with a clean sheet. The hosts simply can’t afford it.
Prediction for the match: Newcastle to score over 0.5 goals
