Montenegro hosts Cyprus in round 6 of the UEFA Nations League C. The match will be played on Tuesday, November 17th at Stadion Pod Goricom (Podgorica)

At first, the Islanders put themselves on the brink of collapse. Being far from the strongest and most successful team, it failed the first round of the League of Nations, losing all three matches with a total score of 0-5. Fortunately, Luxembourg also made mistakes, which resulted in a combination of the sending-off of Vahid Selimovic and a penalty kick in the 33rd minute. Grigoris Kastanos converted it, and the midfielder of Frosinone finally became the hero of the meeting, scoring again in the 70th minute. The match ended in a 2-1 victory of Cyprus.
The national teams drew three times. They met in the qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup and a friendly match in March 2018. Only in September, the Montenegrins won on the road thanks to Stevan Jovetic's double. Everything is in the hands of the Montenegrins. And they simply cannot but use their chance - let us believe in the victory of Jovetic and the company.
