Rennes is not bad, but it lacks stability. The Red-Blacks have achieved good results more than once in recent years. They participated in European competitions several times, and most importantly, they gained a victory in the cup (2019) and bronze medals of Ligue 1 (2020). But a decline began in the last draw, and it became a verdict for Julien Stephan, with whom the abovementioned successes were associated. On the other hand, the long series of successes (seven wins and two draws in the championship and good results in the Conference League) has clearly come to an end. But Rennes gained a 0-5 away victory between those failures! However, the Red-Blacks faced Saint-Etienne, which is frankly weak at the moment.
In this pair, the stadium factor has a rather noticeable influence.
