No need to be guided by the team’s past achievements and transfers during the winter break. Well, Monaco’s wins in the Coupe de France and the Coupe de la Ligue were also tough and by a minimum goal margin. Now they boast more wins indeed. To be more exact, they suffer less defeats; but afterall, what does it change?

The visiting Metz are not that bad. They do compete in the Ligue 2, but they lead their division, and the Tuesday opponents will most likely interchange their spots in the next season. Metz tasted their first loss as of November in the last round clash against Clermont Foot 63. The team allow under one goal per game and can hardly be called attacking, but given Monaco’s present defense, any opponent can score them tomorrow.
