I do not understand what is happening with Bayer, and I have no answer on how long this will continue. Bayer is under tremendous pressure, and it is deservedly. They simply have no moral right not to score two goals to the net of one of the weakest defenses in the league. After the two defeats to the teams from the bottom, Bayer’s place in the top six is under a big question, which must be resolved before the winter break.
Bayer certainly looks much stronger, and I think that two defeats are some kind of decline associated with fatigue. But the third defeat to obvious outsiders will be accepted as a disaster, after which resignation is quite possible. I believe that Bayer's game in attack will stabilize.
