Leicester take on the visitors Arsenal in the round 25 match of English Premier League. The match will be played on Saturday, February 25th at King Power Stadium (Leicester).
Leicester already showed a noticeable decline last season, failing to qualify for European competitions for the first time in several years and finishing in 8th place. However, the beginning of the new season was particularly worrying for fans: Schmeichel and Fofana left, there was no any standout newcomers, and they started with a slipped victory and a long series of defeats. It was only after the break for international matches in October that they were able to improve, but even then not completely: there were 5 defeats in 6 matches during the winter, with the exception of a 1-0 win in the cup against the modest "Gillingham". However, they managed to start February with a pair of victories over strong and ambitious opponents, Aston Villa and Tottenham, scoring 4 goals against both of them. However, in the last round, everything turned around 180 degrees, as Manchester United crushed the "Foxes" 3-0.

Arsenal are a grand of English football - thanks to Monsieur Wenger and his predecessors. However, even under Wenger, the results gradually declined, and his successors were unable to reverse this trend. There was hope that at least after the peak of decline in the last season, they would be able to return to the Champions League, but 4th place was lost literally at the finish, and in favor of their main enemy, Tottenham. There is no doubt now that under Mikel Arteta, Arsenal will not drop below the top four of the Premier League this time. But there are questions about their leadership. The "Red and Whites" have only managed to take 1 point in the last few weeks against Everton and Brentford, and then lost to their rival (and main favorite) Manchester City. However, in the last round, luck was on the side of the London team. While they were snatching victory from Aston Villa, scoring in the 90+ minutes, Manchester City allowed a newly promoted team, Nottingham Forest, to draw 1-1. But the defending champions are once again right behind the contender, waiting for their mistake.
Arsenal have won all 4 of their last head-to-head matches, including a confident 4-2 victory over Leicester at home in August. Betting companies believe that this time they won’t be able to win against Mikel Arteta's team too. It is unlikely that the Gunners will repeat the result that Manchester United achieved the week before at King Power, but we are still expecting Arsenal to win on their opponent's field.
Prediction for the match: Arsenal to win.
