According to the results of the previous season, KTP returned to the top division. The team beat the representative of Veikkausliiga (TPS) in the final of the promotion playoffs on aggregate. The teams from the "high society" gave the Green-Whites a quite unfriendly welcome. The newcomer managed to score only four points in three starting matches of the championship, losing five subsequent ones with a total score of 2-11.

And KTP has few chances for points in the upcoming confrontation. The Green-Whites have problems even in matches against the same outsiders.
