Rizespor have spent most of their history oscillating between the First League and the country's top division. After returning to the Super Lig in 2017, they managed to stay there for four seasons, but the championship before last ended with yet another relegation. Fortunately, this time the return took a minimal amount of time. Moreover, at the new-old level, the team is currently showing quite attractive, convincing football and achieving good results. They have had several unbeaten streaks, starting from the first 5 matches of the season and continuing since November.
