The national team of Ireland has started in the tournament with two difficult victories. The first match was in the field of Gibraltar. The Gibraltar team takes 195th place in the FIFA rankings. The team had held only one home game with the aforementioned rival. I can only add that the team looked good, but it's one thing to play at home, where the fans help, and quite another thing is to play away. In the last three away games, Gibraltar lost twice to Macedonia (0:4) and Liechtenstein (0:2), but nonetheless defeated Armenia (1:0). Most recently, the team played again in a friendly match with Estonia and although it was defeated, the score was 0-1, and Gibraltar was fighting for the victory.
