Ham Kam were founded back in 1918 but has never risen above the 3rd place in the top division, which they achieved half a century ago in 1970. Aalesund were also established in 1914, almost at the same time as their upcoming opponent. But since then, they have suffered consecutive defeats. However, they managed to secure a victory against Rosenborg at home, with Karlsbak scoring the only goal early in the second half.
Ham Kam have failed to win in the last seven head-to-head matches. However, three draws have been recorded, including both matches in 2022. As the home team, Ham Kam appears to be the clear favorite.
