Fylkir several times claimed the title but invariably ended up in 2nd place. And it could even fall to the level of the 3rd or 4th division of Iceland. The Orange-Blacks managed to gain a foothold in the elite only relatively recently. And they gradually improved their results: 8th place in 2019 and 6th in the last draw. The start of the current season was bad (only two points scored in four rounds). But then Fylkir managed to beat Keflavik and generally stepped up. In the last six games, the Orange-Blacks suffered only defeat from Breidablik away. And they scored nine points during this period.

Having made the debut in the Icelandic top division in 2007, Kopavogur has already left Urvalsdeild and returned to it. The last time the promotion took place was at the end of 2018. Before that, the team even spent several years in the 3rd division. There were reasons to say that a new middle peasant had appeared, as the Red-Whites finished in 9th position in the year before last and in the last draw. But now Kopavogur succeeds only sporadically. Having started with two draws, the club suffered three consecutive defeats. It seemed that something began to work out at the end of spring: Gunnarsson's men snatched a draw on the field of KR Reykjavik and defeated Leiknir (the first victory in the season!). But in the summer, the results of the Red-Whites significantly worsened. Keflavik and Stjarnan beat them at home, and Breidablik gained an away victory. As a result, Kopavogur are in the penultimate line (six points scored after ten rounds), outranking Akranes only in additional indicators.
For all the time, Kopavogur was able to beat Fylkir in a head-to-head match only once. It happened back in 2017. Since then, the teams have played five games, and Fylkir has gained three victories and two draws. In May, Kopavogur won back at home, losing 0-2. However, Kopavogur now looks unconvincing, and Fylkir should take advantage of this. We bet on the home team to win.
