It's unlikely that anyone doubts that the ball will find the net in the Blades game. Sheffield's defense leaves much to be desired, conceding a whopping 19 goals in seven rounds. However, I believe that even as the away team, Sheffield are capable of at least finding the back of the net against the inconsistent Fulham. While The Blades struggled to recover after a humiliating 0-8 defeat to Newcastle and suffered another loss to West Ham (0-2) in the following Premier League match, they did score in four consecutive league games prior to that: against Tottenham (1-2), Everton (2-2), Nottingham Forest (1-2), and even Manchester City (1-2). There's no certainty that Fulham won't be added to that list after the next round.
Bookmakers are clearly favoring the home team in the upcoming match, and it's logical to expect goals from them, especially considering how poor the visitors' defense looks. However, in the current season, both Fulham and Sheffield have scored the same number of goals in the Premier League so far. So, I wouldn't be surprised if the visitors manage to score at least one accurate shot as well. In the previous season, when the teams faced each other in the Championship, The Blades came out on top twice. I mention this not as an argument but just as an example that Fulham ultimately made it to the Premier League that season, but Sheffield still managed to beat them. The Blades are not the most comfortable opponent for The Cottagers. In the current championship, both teams tend to see the ball in the net more often than twice per game, with 12 and 19 goals scored in seven rounds, respectively. Based on the level of unreliable defenses on both sides, I'm inclined to choose the Over 2.5 goals option, which offers a very favorable odds.
