A very interesting match will be held on the evening of May 23 in Belgrade. The principal metropolitan derby, and in parallel - the Serbian Cup finals between Crvena Zvezda and Partizan. Of course, the Stars, which made some noise in the group stage of the Champions League last autumn, are considered the favorites. But is Partizan really deprived of chances to fight for the trophy? I do not think so.
Partizan has won the national cup 3 times in a row. Crvena Zvezda, in turn, eliminated in the 1/8 finals stage in 2016, lost to the very Partizan in the final of 2017 and left the draw in the quarterfinals in 2018. It seems that the Stars treat the Serbian Cup not so responsibly, concentrating on winning the local Super Liga.
