Fiorentina squad seemed like a constantly progressing project under the current coach, Italiano. Inter are now making a logical bet on Serie A. The Nerazzurri also flew to the Middle East. But they were much more successful against their next opponent: they defeated Lazio 3-0. There, Inzaghi could not repeat the achievements of his predecessor (it was Conte who won the long-awaited Scudetto), and even last season, he was on the verge of being sacked a couple of times - but in the end, he finished in the top 4 again. And now the Milan-based team has won 16 out of 20 of their matches with only one defeat (to Sassuolo!) and is logically leading.
La Viola finally won in April of last year. But after that, the Nerazzurri won in the Coppa Italia final, and then in September, they delivered a 4-0 thrashing to their opponent in Serie A. La Viola are not bad, but the visitors are clearly stronger and more motivated. Let's bet on an Inter win.
