In the current Europa League, everyone expects positive results from the Moscow club. CSKA can no longer be called an unseasoned team that has no competitive experience. Viktor Goncharenko has worked in Moscow for quite a long time and has managed to build a nice team. His men scored two points in the two starting rounds of the Europa League (draws with Dynamo Zagreb and Wolfsberger). In the RPL, the capital club fights for the champion’s title (second line in the standings). This season, such newcomers as Gaich, Ejuke, Zaynutdinov, and Fuchs have strengthened CSKA’s lineup. In addition to them, the team has enough skilled footballers with a promising future - Vlašić, Oblyakov, Chalov, Diveyev, and Kuchaev. It is impossible to imagine modern CSKA without Akinfeev, Fernandes, and Shchennikov.
The Dutch club shows very modest performance in the Europa League. Feyenoord makes too many mistakes in defense. The Russian team is more predictable - pragmatic football with a stake on reliability in defense. This is the signature style of the Red-Blues. We should not expect high scoring in the upcoming match - 1-2 goals scored will decide everything.
