No matter how the match in Hungary ends, the Lithuanians can safely put themselves the EXCELLENT mark for this qualification! I remember how everyone buried the Lithuanians in the confrontation with Crvena Zvezda in the Champions League qualification, but the team lost only 1-2 on aggregate... The same situation was in the battle with Maccabi from Tel Aviv, and the Lithuanian not only passed - they won both matches against an experienced opponent (2-1 at home, and 2-1 away)! There are many legionnaires, but local players also set the tone, thus forming a very decent team! It would be very interesting to see it in the autumn stage of European cups! Are Lithuanians able to take this last step? Well, it will be an extremely difficult match! A huge plus for the Balts is that they did not concede in the home match, and it surely gives them an advantage in the upcoming game. But whatever you say, the Hungarians still look like favorites, and the Lithuanians need to prove once again that the favorites do not always justify their status!
Of course, I feel sympathy with the Lithuanian team! I would like the Balts to bring their way to the group stage. But the Kazakh specialist’s team will have to try hard to decide the outcome in their favor. Hungarians are more experienced, but you can count on the temper of the visitors!
