FC Minsk hosts Isloch in round 13 of Belarusian Vysshaya Liga. The match will be played on Friday, June 12th at Stadion Torpedo (Minsk)
Minsk has just returned after a break connected with internal quarantine, after which the team managed to play two rounds: first, they managed to beat Slutsk at home, and then there was a crushing away defeat to Dynamo Brest (1-6). To be honest, I don’t understand why Minsk is such an obvious underdog of a home confrontation with Isloch. The Wolves act very uncertainly on the road, and the metropolitan squad rarely fails on its pitch – FC Minsk managed to beat Dynamo Minsk and Slutsk, and there were defeats to the powerful BATE and Torpedo Zhodino, but these teams are among the leaders now. It is clear that the current position of Minsk cannot be called reliable, so the team will fight to the utterance in every match, especially when it comes to a home meeting with Isloch, which is exhausted by injuries. I am sure that Minsk will earn at least one point.

Isloch has recently been a team that could compete for places in Euro cups. But lately, today's visitors have had huge difficulties that were associated with huge losses in the squad. The team could not win in the last four matches, and the only victory in the last 6 rounds happened in a match with Belshina, which is one of the main outsiders of the championship. I can’t but note that the Wolves are a purely home squad. Playing on the road, Isloch acts simply terribly - the team lost in all four away matches with a total score of 1-9. I would like to note that the Wolves played against Dynamo Brest and Dynamo Minsk, which were simply terrible at the start of the season.
It seems to me that it is worth betting on the home team. Minsk had some difficulties in the current championship, but victories in two “extra” rounds will help the metropolitan team to protect itself from relegation. Isloch is simply terrible on the road, and the shape of the visitors raises serious questions. I’ll bet on Minsk’s victory with a +0.5 handicap for a very good coefficient!
Prediction for the match: FC Minsk to win with +0.5 handicap
