Farul Constanta take on the visitors Sheriff Tiraspol in the first leg of 1/8-finals in UEFA Champions League qualification playoffs. The match will be played on Wednesday, June 12th at Central Stadium Hagi Academy (Ovidiu).
For "Farul," this is their first similar experience. "The Sailors" have a complicated history. "Sheriff" will attempt to replicate the success of 2021. "The Black-Yellows" are much more prestigious compared to their first opponent in the new cycle. "The Wasps" from Tiraspol, founded in 1997, have already been champions of Moldova 21 times, not to mention other national trophies. They have consistently performed well in European competitions.
