Everton take on the visitors Fulham at the Goodison Park in the 7th tour of the Premier League. The match will be played in Liverpool on Saturday, September 29th.
Even though Everton had enhanced their squad a lot last summer with such players as Kurt Zouma, Lucas Digne, Bernard, Richarlison and Ademola Lookman, had changed their manager from Sam Allardyce to Marco Silva, they have been looking pretty bad in the start of the new season. In their six matches of the 2018/2019 Premier League season the Toffees got only six points to their credit with a 8-11 goal difference. In their last three matches Everton lost to Arsenal with a 0-2 score, to West Ham United with a 1-3 score and drew against Huddersfield Town with a 1-1 score. In their 1/32-finals fixture of the Carabao Cup the Blues beat Rotherham with a 3-1 score.

Fulham enhanced their squad with even more players than Everton did last summer. The Cottagers spent more than 100 millions on the new players after them returning to the Premier League. They had their defensive line fully refreshed with such footballers as Calum Chambers, Alfie Mawson and Timothy Fosu-Mensah. That didn`t help much though because the team conceded thirteen goals already in their starting six matches of the league. Their offensive line got enhanced with Andre Schurrle, Luciano Vietto and Aleksandar Mitrovic. Those three have helped the Whites to score eight goals so far this season. In their middle line the team of Slavisa Jokanovic has such players as Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa and Jean Michael Seri. In their last three matches Fulham beat Millwall with a 3-1 score in the 1/16-finals fixture of the Carabao Cup, drew against Watford with a 1-1 score and lost to Manchester City with a 0-3 score. The Cottagers have also had a friendly fixture recently where they have beaten ATK with a 1-0 score.
It is hard to predict who will get a victory in the upcoming fixture. It is likely though that both teams will score because their respective defensive lines are far from being the best in the league. Everton have conceded at least once in all of their Premier League fixtures this season. However, they have scored at least once in all of them too except for one match against Arsenal on the away side. Fulham have been the same and have conceded in their every league match. They have scored in all of those games too except for two against Crystal Palace in the first tour and Manchester City. Both Everton and Fulham scored goals in nine of twelve last matches between them. The teams should have a productive fixture on Saturday.
Prediction for the match: Both teams to score.
