Eupen hosts Anderlecht in the first leg of the Belgian Cup semifinals. The match will be played on Thursday, February 3rd at Kehrwegstadion (Eupen)
Eupen began to show decent results only in the last decade. Anderlecht still cannot regain the status of the strongest team in the country. And it seems that the Purple-Whites will again take only third or fourth place. It is unlikely that they will be able to impose real competition for Club Brugge KV, despite the departure of Clement, and the sensational newcomer, Union Saint-Gilloise, also feels quite confident in the current season. I think Eupen has already surpassed itself in the current cup draw. And Anderlecht needs success at least in this tournament, so let's believe that an ambitious club will be able to win.
