The Danes showed a bad start in the new Nations League in Division A. They lost to Belgium at home with a 0-2 score. The difference in class between the teams had its effect, and the Belgians could well have won with a bigger score if they converted their attempts better. Most of the Danes have been without game practice for a long time, and they feel a lack of fitness conditioning. That is exactly what should again have a negative effect on them in the match with the British. So far, the new coach of the Danish Dynamite (Kasper Hjulmand) is just getting to know the team.

Southgate's team showed a great start in the new Nations League, having beaten Iceland in the last seconds of the away meeting (0-1).
